We spent our final week finishing up projects, practicing for our final day performance, and saying goodbye to friends for the summer.
We found some great big branches scattered over the playground when we went out on Tuesday, and the children used them during the week to build forts. They worked together to carry and arrange them into secret hiding spots.
It was great to have Cindy with us on Tuesday and Wednesday. The children really enjoy working with her, playing chase with her, and listening to her read stories.
The sensory table was full of pop beads, and everyone had a great time creating fabulous jewelry for themselves and everyone else. Our classroom was full of princes and princesses all decked out in the most stunning accessories!
On Thursday morning we had fun doing rainy day activities before heading outside for an obstacle course. We enjoyed one last snack time, all together, before packing up our stuff and listening to our last story of the year.
All of the children did a wonderful job during the performance. Good luck to all of our friends who will be moving on next year, and congratulations to our three kindergarten students.
Thank you to everyone for a wonderful year! We will miss all of the students who are moving on, and we look forward to seeing all of the returning students in the fall. Enjoy the summer!
