Meet the Staff

Lyn Schmucker

Tammy Cunnington

Tammy earned her Bachelors degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Education from Johnson State College. Early literacy was her primary focus. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She lives in Maidstone, VT. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as snow shoeing, hiking and camping with her family.

Susan Vigne

While new to Montessori, Susan has been passionate about teaching for many years.  After teaching in private and public schools in Maine and Vermont, she founded and directed Aurora School, an independent elementary school in Middlebury, Vermont from 1996-2016. She relocated with her husband Greg to Whitefield, where he is the pastor and she directs the kids’ programming at Community Baptist Church.  Susan enjoys the beauty of the North Country by kayaking, hiking and cross-country skiing. Music, cooking, and great books are her other passions .  Most of all she loves being a wife to Greg, mother to three grown daughters, and proud grandmother to two beautiful preschool aged grandchildren. Since they are in Minnesota, Susan is so glad to be able to spend time with the preschoolers at Sunnybrook Montessori!

Katlyn Van Horn

Katlyn has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Plymouth State University. Since graduating she has worked for non-profit organizations as well as the public school system. Although she has spent much of her life in New Hampshire, after moving north of the notch to Littleton the role of nature and the outdoors has become a huge part of her professional and personal life.  Katlyn is soon to be married to her fiancé, Aaron, who is also a teacher in the area. While not teaching she enjoys spending time reading, snowshoeing, hiking, or kayaking.
